Mission Statement

The Santa Maria Fairpark Foundation, Inc. is passionate about promoting agriculture and celebrating our agricultural vitality, traditions and legacy. We support educational opportunities for the community and foster programs that develop our local youth in agriculture. Our fundraising efforts are focused on making capital improvements to the Fairpark and enhancing the community’s use of the facilities. It is our goal to highlight agriculture and the important role it continues to play as the #1 major producing industry in both our local and State economy.

Agriculture – both crop and livestock – is not just something that’s part of our heritage, but is critical to our future and economic health. The Santa Maria Fairpark and the Santa Maria Fairpark Foundation provide a vital link in sharing this message. We promote our rich history and legacy as a livestock and agriculture producing region and State while ensuring our future generations become stewards of the land; our most vital resource.

The constituency of the 37th District Agricultural Association – the Santa Maria Fairpark – encompasses not only the residents of north Santa Barbara County, but also south San Luis Obispo County and serves thousands of people, especially our youth.
